2021-10-13 | Supporting the future Merchant Marine Engineers
It is our great pleasure to stand by the young people, who aim to build a career path within our industry, during their learning journey.
LALIZAS supported the operation of the newly established Merchant Marine Engineering Specialisation of the 15th Technical High School in Thessaloniki, Greece, by providing lifesaving equipment and other maritime products.
Our equipment will greatly enrich the lessons of students of second and third year, as they will be able to test in practice what they learn in theory, such as how to don properly a lifejacket or how a compass works.
It is significant that their knowledge about lifesaving equipment does not only derive from the books and the manuals, but also from experiential exercises.
We could not but respond positively and willingly provide lifejackets, lifebuoy rings and other equipment that will contribute significantly to the qualitative knowledge of the students.
Besides, we always strive to actively support the efforts of all those who love the sea, and encourage them to get involved in our industry, in order to shape the future of Shipping.
For us, Safety is not just a product, it is an ongoing process!
